Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a qualified Maths teacher, holding QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree to start a permanent post at a truly outstanding academy. They are always on the lookout for inspirational and influential staff. They look for staff who have a real passion and enjoy teaching. You must be highly skilled in the role you are applying for or else willing and able to learn in post. You must show a passion for education and improving the life chances of London children. You should be highly motivated, like working as part of a team and possess excellent communication skills.

This Maths department is looking for an experienced Teacher of Maths with experience of teaching KS3 & KS4 and/or KS5. Their aim is to offer all students a broad and varied experience of maths education that will equip them with the skills not only to be successful in their academic endeavours but so they can participate in society as mathematically literate citizens. Students are encouraged to be reflective and resilient learners at all times and to take up opportunities to engage with STEM related projects both in school and around London.
The Department is well resourced with equipment, and in addition draws on the expertise of special maths consultants provided throughout the Academy. The department runs extra-curricular sessions and uses a wide range of teaching and learning strategies to promote progress and celebrate the diversity of our students.

The school is located close to Stratford in the London Borough of Newham.
