An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Maths teacher to assist this experienced and professional department at a 'Good' academy based in Nottingham. The role is a currently being filled on a cover basis and the HOD is looking for an experienced teacher or an NQT.
Behaviour in the school is good for the majority and where needed the behaviour policy is simple, effective and used throughout the school. Pupils are keen to learn and the timetable for this role is comprised of a lot of well behaved, academically motivated classes across years Key stage three and four. The department is 8 strong and well balanced between experienced and newly qualified teachers.
Staff are well looked after and respected by pupils and SLT alike and duties will include planning and marking.
The successful teacher will have a passion for Mathematics, and a track record of engaging teaching. You will hold and embody the highest expectations of your pupils and will have the drive and ambition to create an outstanding environment for learning, in Mathematics and beyond.
