We're seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at a Pupil Referral Unit located in Redbridge. This full-time position (5 days per week) is available immediately and will continue for the duration of the academic year.

Role:
As a Maths Teacher at our Pupil Referral Unit, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality education and support to students in need. The successful candidate will utilise their expertise in mathematics to engage, inspire, and educate students, fostering a positive learning environment within the unit.

Requirements:

• PRU Experience: The ideal candidate must have previous experience working within Pupil Referral Units, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities these environments present.
• Maths Expertise: We are seeking a Maths Teacher who is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and committed to delivering exceptional mathematics education. Your role will involve inspiring students through the teaching of mathematics, ensuring their understanding and progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective maths lessons tailored to students' needs.
• Support and encourage students in their mathematical learning journey, addressing individual learning requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and actively participate in student development meetings.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Mathematics or related field.
• Proven experience in teaching mathematics, particularly in alternative educational settings such as PRUs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage students.
