A fantastic secondary school located on the outskirts of Scunthorpe is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring maths specialist to join their thriving Maths department. This is a full-time role and pay can vary between £120.00 - £170.00 per day. This will be a long term role, covering a sickness, but will last for at least 2 months. All planning and marking associated with a teaching role will be expected for this role.

This school assures the successful candidate will be working alongside a strong, supportive and well-led team of specialist teachers who provide high quality and engaging lessons. The applicant must be able to teach maths at key stages 3 and 4, across the ability range, be motivated, resilient and should feel confident that they can contribute to the team. The school itself is modern and has great teaching facilities. The staff are provided with useful resources which help to keep activities engaging and have proven to help support the understanding of topics taught.

During this role you will be expected to teach a varied timetable as well as mark and plan given lessons. Having a real passion for the subject, with a love for learning is highly recognised and must be a quality those applying demonstrate.
