Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a Maths teacher looking for your new role?

Tradewind are currently recruiting for an excellent Maths teacher to start in January at an excellent education provider in North Lincolnshire. We are looking for a teacher with outstanding subject knowledge, who can teach Maths to GCSE and A level students. A practitioner that can inspire students about Maths, and has the knowledge/experience to guide them through their examinations is exactly what our partnership school is looking for. There will be no Key Stage 3 on the timetable, so we are looking for a practitioner who is confident enough to take on exam classes. This post is to start in January, and you will be covering a maternity cover position. As this is a maternity cover, the exact contract length is difficult to determine, but we anticipate this need to last for the spring and summer term, ending in July 2020. All planning and marking associated with a teaching position are expected in this role, and for that reason the successful candidate will be paid according to their place on the main pay scale. In real terms, this means a candidate can expect to earn between £110.00 and £190.00 per day, depending on experience and qualifications. Ideally, we are looking for a teacher with A level experience, however a suitably qualified teacher who is interested and capable of teaching A level will definitely be considered for this role. Applications from strong NQTs will also be considered for this position.

The School in question is a large educational provider, with over 1,500 students on roll. Typical working hours will be between 9:00 and 4:00PM. You will be teaching eager and willing students who are interested in the subject that they are doing. Teaching the Key Stage 4 students, you will possibly experience some difficult behaviour, and for that reason a dedicated and skilled behaviour manager is required. In terms of timetabling, you can expect to teach approximately 70% A level (year 1 and 2), and 30% GCSE students. Supply staff in this setting are welcomed as part of the team, and you can expect to be treated as a permanent member of staff.

The role:
*Delivering Key Stage 4 and 5 Maths
*Promoting positive behaviour

The benefits of registering with Tradewind:

*We attract top education talent and in return offer top rates of pay
*We care about your training and development more than any other agency - which is why we can offer you more certified CPD courses than any other education recruitment agency, 30 to be exact!
