The successful teacher will be joining a team of 9 teachers responsible for teaching throughout Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. Assisting with the department's workload, ongoing assessments, schemes of work and liaising with the Department Head to ensure the pupils and schools full potential is achieved.
The school are looking to appoint a committed and engaging teacher, with experience or recent training enabling the teaching of Maths across mixability groups (KS3) and streamed sets for 4 and 5. Overseas trained teachers are encouraged to apply and will benefit from mentors, ongoing assessments, support and a reduced timetable in year 1. Previous overseas teachers are now on permanent contracts within the school all who are now building a career base for teaching in the UK. Experienced Teachers are encouraged to apply and the school also welcome applications from part time teachers able to offer 3+ days a week due to the flexibility within the department and timetable.
Requirements:
- A Teaching qualification or experience of teaching Maths with full teaching responsibilities.
- Enthusiasm, professionalism, and a desire to join the academy in this exciting time ready for their new school opening.
- A proactive and engaging personality along with a passion for working with young people.
