We are recruiting on behalf of a small Catholic secondary school, which caters for students from 11 -16 years old. The school provides 'Outstanding' outcomes for pupils and is performing above the national average in terms of the fantastic results that they deliver. They aim to produce confident individuals that shine through learning in a safe and happy environment.
This OFSTED 'Good' secondary school are looking for a Maths Teacher who can deliver lessons across all Key Stages and has excellent behaviour management and sound subject knowledge. You must set high expectations, with the drive to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role. You will need the ability to work collaboratively, and support and lead on the delivery of the subject through creative approaches including curriculum design and the use of ICT.
The role itself will involve the delivery of Maths lessons to students in KS3 and KS4, where the department has enjoyed excellent GCSE results year on year. Ideal candidates will have strong curriculum knowledge and will ensure that the lessons they deliver are of excellent quality using innovative and engaging approaches, ensuring that the students are having fun whilst making progress!
The school is based in the Stockport area, with excellent public transport links and ample parking available.
After visiting this school, I was incredibly impressed by the pupils' desire to learn and achieve, as well as the inclusive feel of the school, as it is a designated provider of education for students with physical disabilities. The staff are very welcoming and encourage the best in their students.
