Tradewind are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and talented Maths teacher to join the Maths Faculty starting immediately to work remotely during the pandemic. This is a successful 11-19 girls' school which serves the mixed community of East London.

The successful applicant will be committed to raising students' achievement as a member of the ADT Faculty and to play a key role in the development of the school as we continue to successfully raise standards and move from Good to Outstanding. Maths n is a very popular subject at KS3 and provides successful examination courses at KS4.

The client is looking for a teacher who holds QTS status. You must have secure knowledge and understanding of your specialist subject equating to degree level and the ability to teach at Key Stages 3 and 4. They are looking for someone who possesses a clear understanding of current educational issues, theory and practice. You must set high expectations for students' behaviour, establishing and maintaining good standards of discipline through well focused teaching and through positive and productive relationships. You must be genuinely interested in students' learning and able to employ a range of teaching methods to ensure that the needs of all learners are met.

The teacher will be required to implement and deliver a broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a curriculum area as appropriate. You will be expected to monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher and a form tutor, ensuring that you facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential. You will be responsible for raising standards of student attainment and share and support the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
