A school in Northampton, Northamptonshire is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join their team starting in January on a permanent basis. The school welcomes both experienced and newly qualified teachers and provides great support to all team members.
The school has state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities and has been graded as 'Good' by Ofsted in their recent inspection. They offer a comprehensive curriculum from Key Stage 3 through to A-level and require the incoming Maths Teacher to have the confidence to teach up to GCSE level.

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications including a degree and QTS, a strong understanding of the Maths curriculum, and experience teaching Maths at the secondary school level.

Person specification:
- Hold a relevant degree and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary school level, or a strong understanding of the Maths curriculum
- Be confident teaching up to GCSE level and have a good understanding of the A-level Maths curriculum
- Be passionate about Maths and have a desire to inspire students to achieve their full potential
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively as part of a team
- Be committed to ongoing professional development and willing to participate in the school's CPD programme
- Be dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, where all students feel valued and supported
- Have a growth mindset and be open to feedback, always striving to improve your own teaching practice
