This role is to cover a late resignation and will consist of teaching streamed sets across Key Stage 3, 4 with the possibility of KS 5 if desired. Pupil's enjoy learning here and results continue to improve and stay above the national and local average.
The school are seeking a teacher who can:
*Focus on student development and progression.
*Build a rapport and enthuse students in lessons and extracurricular activities.
*Creative relatable lessons that engage pupils and feature content from current events around the world.
*Uphold and maintain the high standard set by the school for pupil care and maintain safeguarding practices at all times.
Working with an experienced HOD you will have the full support and scaffolding from an engaging and collaborative team. For all courses grades will consist of results from course work and examinations. In return you'll benefit from a superb SLT team, good facilities and pupils that enjoy learning. To be considered for this role you will need:
-A can do attitude and passion for working with young people.
-Previous experience of working within a school as a Business and Economics Teacher, Specialist, Instructor or Specialist Cover supervisor.
-Good communication skills
You will need to provide
-A current DBS check - we can provide one for you and even repay you for the expense (t&c's apply)
-A complete work history spanning 10 years where applicable
-Current teaching references or references from other child related roles
