Tradewind are working with an inclusive, supportive and innovative Secondary School in Brent who are seeking to appoint a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant in the new academic year. This will be a one year contract, offered on a full time long term basis.

As a Maths Teaching Assistant, you will be based within the Mathematics department and assist the Maths Teachers to raise attainment and engagement within their department. This will be achieved through in-class support, individual learning goals, small group interventions and bespoke tasks for students who have learning difficulties or mild special needs.

This School is renowned for its programmes that frequently see Teaching Assistants trained in how to plan, mark, behaviour management and conduct classes within their department. Teaching Assistants here frequently cover classes when teachers are absent; this is a unique opportunity for aspiring teachers to gain a head start in their teaching career.
