Tradewind Recruitment is working with an inclusive, supportive faith Secondary School in Camden who are seeking a Maths Specialist Teaching Assistant to commence with them immediately. This is a full time, long term position that will run until the end of the academic year in the first instance.

As a Maths Teaching Assistant in Camden, your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting students who require additional support, encouragement or motivation within the maths department to achieve their full potential
*Creating individual learning activities for students across KS3 - KS5 tailored to their needs
*Running small focus groups for students who need additional challenges to further their Maths skills, or for students who need to curriculum further broken down, so they can achieve their best
*Differentiating lessons or creating bespoke learning activities for students who have mild special educational needs or learning difficulties

To be successful in this Maths Teaching Assistant position in Camden, you will:
*Be a recent Mathematics Graduate (2:1 minimum) who is eager to commence a career within education
*Or have extensive experience teaching or tutoring Mathematics students and are confident supporting students up to KS5 / A Level
*Have a confident, positive, inclusive and creative persona, who can build rapport and successful relationships quickly
*Be able to follow instruction, take direction and advice well and work well both independently and within a team
*A graduate considering a career in teaching would be looked upon favourably
