We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an MFL Teacher in the East Riding, with the opportunity due to start once the schools reopen in the new academic year. We anticipate that this post will last for two terms, taking you up until at least Easter 2021. You will be covering a period of absence due to a maternity leave, but there may be room for a permanent position at the end of the placement.

You will be responsible for teaching French to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. Potentially, there is room for teaching Spanish to Key Stage 3 students on the timetable as well, so ability to teach Spanish to low/mid ability Key Stage 3 students is desirable but by no means essential for this position. Payment for this position will be between £120.00 and £184.00 depending on experience and qualifications. This position is full time, but discussions may be made about arranging a 0.8 timetable.

This academy is below average in size, meaning the successful candidate will get to know more of the students on a close basis, with the academy priding itself on the 'family ethos' that resonates throughout the academy. The school is part of a UK wide academy trust and boasts excellent results year on year. Access to the excellent CPD opportunities offered by the academy trust will be given to the successful candidate. Due to the rural location it is most easily accessed via car, and has an onsite car park that provides ample parking for those who do drive. It is still accessible via public transport from Hull City Centre however.
