We are looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic teacher of French to work in a lovely secondary school with outstanding facilities on the island of Guernsey. This position is up until Christmas 2019 but could continue in to 2020. You will be required to teach up to GCSE only. There is potential for it to continue in to January 2020, but it is left open to suit both parties.

The successful candidate will be/have:
*Able to commit to one half term on the island of Guernsey, and have no commitments in the UK that may prevent them from staying on the island from November to December.
*The ability to work alone, and plan, prepare and deliver exciting and innovating lessons.
*The ability to differentiate as there is a vast range of abilities within the school.
*Strong classroom management, and able to manage any challenging behaviour in a calm and effective manner.
*Comfortable with their own company, or enjoy making friends with the locals and other supply teachers on the island!
*Happy to work on a small island that has around only 63,000 people, a limited amount of shops and restaurants, and with inflated prices (the cost of living is higher than the UK).
