Tradewind are recruiting! Are you an MFL teacher looking for a new, long term role?

Tradewind are currently recruiting for an excellent Modern Foreign Languages teacher for work in a local partnership school, in Hull. You will be working full time, and this vacancy is to start in September 2020, lasing until at least May half term 2021. However, there is a high chance that this could be extended to last until the end of the academic year. You will be covering a period of absence due to sickness and for that reason the exact length of time you will be working is difficult to predict to 100% certainty. Your typical working hours will be 8:45 to 3:00PM, but you may be requested to stay for staff meetings or parents evenings on specific days, which you will be informed of in advance. You will also be in charge of a form group, which will be a wonderful opportunity to get to know the wonderful students at the school. You will be teaching French to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, and will be teaching in accordance to the AQA specification. There is possibility for some Spanish teaching on the curriculum, most likely to Key Stage 3 students, so a practitioner who can teach both French and Spanish would be viewed extremely highly.
You will be paid in accordance with the main pay scale, in real terms meaning the successful candidate can expect to earn between £110.00 and £184.00 per day. This is a full time vacancy, and we are ideally looking for a practitioner that can commit to full time work. There may be the possibility (for the right candidate) of part time teaching, but this would need to be for a minimum of three days, and must include: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, just due to timetabling requirements. You will be teaching years 7-10, so will not have any classes that are sitting this years examinations.

This is a wonderful school, situated in Hull. It is most easily accessed via car, having a large onsite car park which provides ample parking spaces. It is possible to access via public transport, and is on a regular bus route from Hull city centre. Your typical working hours will be 9:00 to 3:15. As you are paid to scale for this position, you will be expected to attend parents evenings.

*Delivering Key Stage 3 Spanish
*Planning and marking in line with the national curriculum
*Attending parent's evenings
*Liaising with Teaching Assistants and Safeguarding leads
