Tradewind recruitment are working with an excellent partnership school in Hull, who are in need of a qualified and experienced MFL teacher to work from June 2021. This will be a maternity cover contract, and will last until at least December 2021, but potentially last until June 2022. This will be discussed throughout the placement. You will be performing all of the responsibilities and duties of a permanent staff member, and for this reason will be paid to scale (up to M6) for this position. This position is full time. This is a temporary contract.

You will be working within a small, close knit team who have developed a bank of exceptional resources over recent years, meaning planning for this role will be minimal. With this potentially being a 3 term contract, the school are happy to accept applications from NQTs, and there is potential to complete terms of your NQT during this placement. We are looking for a French specialist, who can teach Spanish to Key Stage 3 students.

Working with this school for over a year, they are an extremely friendly and welcoming school with friendly staff members and a wonderful working atmosphere.

There is a large onsite car park which is free for all staff members to use. The school caters to students 11-16, so experience teaching A Level students is not a requirement for this position.

The role:

  • Teaching French to Key Stage 4 students
  • Teaching French and Spanish to Key Stage 3 students
  • Planning and marking in line with the national curriculum

    Essential requirements:
  • Experience working with students aged between 11-18
  • QTS
  • All work with Tradewind is subject to an enhanced DBS check and at least 2 suitable references being obtained.
  • All work with Tradewind is subject to submittal of a CV with a 10 year career history
  • Legal Right to Work in the UK
