Tradewind are working with a lovely school in the historic city of Lincoln, who are looking for a modern foreign languages teacher to cover a maternity leave, starting from Easter. The school is a 'good' school and previous staff members working there have commented on being instantly welcomed by the teaching staff there, feeling like one of the family from day one. Ideally, we would be looking for an excellent practitioner who can teach Spanish up to KS5, however we would seriously consider applications from practitioners who have another specialism (French or German) as long as they can deliver Spanish to KS4 students. Ideally we are looking for a practitioner that can work full time, but the school are willing to be flexible, willing to go down to 3-4 days per week for the right candidate.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a teacher looking for their next move, and due to staffing changes, there could potentially be a permanent job at the end of the maternity contract. This position would suit an ambitious practitioner looking to develop their A level teaching, an opportunity that isn't available in all secondary schools. Student behaviour is good, meaning teachers can truly explore their pedagogy in this role, without having to worry about particularly unruly behaviour.

Having excellent teaching staff, and fantastic leadership, development opportunities are available in abundance at this school. We would welcome applications from experienced teachers who are looking to develop their teaching repertoire, while sharing their good practice with the school and the members of the department. Similarly, applications from newly qualified or recently qualified teachers who are looking to gain experience in different schools would also be welcomed.

This position will be full time and pay will be scaled to MPS, meaning teachers can expect to be paid between £120 and £180 per day for this position. With the nature of a maternity contract it is impossible to say exactly how long the contract will run for, but at the least it will run until October half term 2019.

The school has free onsite parking for those who drive and due to the central location, it is easily accessible via public transport.
