Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a specialist MFL teacher to start in a state-of-the-art Academy from the October half term (or sooner if available) for the remainder of the academic year.

You will be responsible for teaching Spanish to the schools engaging and diverse student population across key stages 3 & 4 and some French to KS3. The department is 6 strong and compromises of great facilities following a recent complete school renovation. The school have a close knit community of teaching and support staff and superb approach to their behaviour management. Staff enjoy working here and the school are steadily improving and expecting a positive outcome from their most recent Ofsted - Sept 19.

Teachers praise the school for their 'cohesive community atmosphere and work ethic of all staff' and the school have a superb learning environment with a clear and concise behaviour policy and intervention teams when required.

As all new teachers at the school do, you'll be working closely with the HOD / SLT to ensure your supported in the early stages of your journey here and that consistency and continuity is delivered across all areas of your teaching.

The school is based within a short drive of the main station, has ample parking and good links to the surrounding towns, Potters Bar, Barnet, Watford and Edgeware.

To join this successful and integral department in September you will need to
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
You will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure, overseas police clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
