SANZA Teaching Agency is currently working with a large primary school based in the borough of Havering who need a mid-day meal supervisor to join their team. This position is due to start 27th September and will run for the duration of the 2023/24 academic year with an opportunity for a permanent contract for September 2024. The position of Midday meal supervisor is paying an hourly rate of £15.00 and the hours are usually between 11:00am - 2:00pm or 11:30am - 2:30pm.
As a mid-day meal supervisor in this school your role will be to support one of the Primary classes with lunchtime duties. You will be required to ensure students are making safe and you will participate in games and monitoring of the students at lunch time. Sometimes you will be required to help with cleaning up and there can be personal care duties as well.
To be shortlisted for this role, you will need to have the below:
- Child related experience or a desire to support children in a school setting
- Good organisation skills
- Patient with a sense of humour
- Confident in working independently or in a group setting
- Available in the hours mentioned, 5 days per week
