Tradewind are seeking a highly motivated, confident MFL teacher who is ready to start work in September 2019 for an inspirational school in Grimsby. The role is advertised as permanent but can be signed as temporary for one year, depending on preference. NQT' s are welcome!

This is an exciting opportunity which will enable you to take control of the subject you've worked so hard to understand, as the successful applicant will be given full control over the languages department. They will be expected to teach both KS3 and KS4 children throughout the week and be provided with great, high quality resources. These facilities will help to appropriately support the lessons implemented, keeping pupils engaged and excited.

In your first year, there will be no year 11 teaching, so you will have the opportunity to enjoy a year without the stresses of year 11 teaching, allowing yourself to fully implement your vision on the department. The year 10 classes are small, with the year 10 French class containing 12 students, and the year 10 Spanish class will have 8 students. Obviously with these small classes there is the opportunity to get to know the students on a personal level and aid with their progress. Only the top two sets in year 7 do MFL. Payment will be scaled to £120 - £170 per day.

The ideal candidate should:
- Enjoy implementing creative activities
- Have experience teaching KS3 and KS4 French and Spanish
- Understand the importance of differentiation

This candidate will teach French and Spanish to both key stage 3 and 4 students.

*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
