Calling all Music Teachers; Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a full-time Music Teacher to work at one of their schools in Sandwell from January 2019. Music Teacher; January 2019; Sandwell School.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Music Teacher in mainstream and is used to keeping pupils engaged and progressing in their academics. In this role, you will be teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 students mixed abilities pupils. The schools have a great support system and the senior leaders are always open to new ideas.

This is a non-selective 11-18 school based in Sandwell, West Midlands. The school has a Good Ofsted report with real momentum & improving standards across all areas. Academically the school achieves Good results year in year out & this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of their success story as they are aiming for an outstanding Ofsted in their next inspection. Student behaviour is excellent but the main selling point is the atmosphere and ethos within the school. We have worked with the school for a number of years and placed numerous support staff and teachers within the school, it is a brilliant place to work both in terms of the relationships between students and staff members.

The ideal candidate for this Key Stage 3 and 4 Music Teacher role will:

*Be experienced and/or qualified to teach the subject successfully at Key Stage 3 and 4
*Be empathetic to the students and contribute to the school's friendly, enthusiastic atmosphere.
*Be familiar with the national curriculum and assessment methodology
*A sense of warmth and having a caring outlook.
*Any other skills or subject expertise may be helpful.

To join us and be successful in this Music Teacher role you will need to:

*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
