We are looking for teachers who are confident in their music skills and subject knowledge and able to successfully differentiate lessons to engage a wide range of special needs learners.

Students at this school are aged 11-19 years old. Levels and abilities vary greatly from class to class and a creative approach will be required to ensure all students in the class are included. Each class is made up of 5-10 students with around 240 pupils across the school. The class teacher will be supported by 1-2 class teaching assistants. Experience of familiarity with P-Scales is highly desired and candidates who are Team Teach trained are encouraged to apply.

Due to the nature of the individualised support required, teachers are assisted by an onsite multi-disciplinary team. This team provide thorough assessments and therapy plans for each student. As a short-term cover teacher, this will ensure you are knowledgeable from day one about each students' individual learning needs, goals and therapy interventions.

The Teacher would have:
*Experience Teaching Music

*A strong understanding or experience of Special Educational Needs
*Knowledge of the Music curriculum

*Team Teach training - not essential but highly desired
