Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client schools in the Cheshire area who are looking to appoint a Music Teacher for a long-term maternity position starting after October half-term. This position will be covering a maternity leave and could continue until the end of the academic year. The school are happy to consider applications from both NQTs and experienced teachers.

The school are looking to appoint a Music teacher who:

*Is passionate about teaching Music;
*Is prepared to take responsibility for planning, delivery and assessing pupils work;
*Will undertake additional responsibilities including lunchtime duties and parents evenings;
*Has experience teaching the GCSE AQA Music syllabus.

The successful candidate will be joining a department who intend to inspire all students to develop an enthusiasm and broad awareness of Music. In addition to developing a passion for Music the department aim to engage students in a range of activities and performance opportunities which progress their creativity and musicianship.

*Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification;
*Have experience teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4;
*This position is subject to Enhanced DBS, Overseas police check (if applicable) and satisfactory references;
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
*Have the legal right to work in the UK.
