Tradewind are looking for a hardworking, ambitious teacher of Music to do a fixed term 1 year contract starting in September 2019.

They are looking for someone who has experience teaching Music to Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4 and real passion for this subject. High-level skills are celebrated in the music department and in performances across the school. Students are all given the opportunity to work independently using the music department resources and must ensure that they bring their instrument and music to their lessons.

Their music curriculum focuses on music from cultures from all around the world, encouraging pupils to foster respect and tolerance for those of different faiths and beliefs. The year 11 Fusion unit in particular requires students to investigate different faiths and cultures and become aware of how cultural and religious beliefs impact music.
