Located in Chingford, part of Waltham Forest, this well-run and high performing school is looking to appoint a suitably qualified Music Teacher on a permanent basis due to the current post holder leaving for personal reasons. The school is keen to appoint ASAP but can wait till January for the right person. This school has excellent facilities and has recently invested heavily in its performing arts department! New music classrooms including a sound proof studio have been created to encourage students to follow the subject to the highest possible level. Uptake of Music at GCSE and A-Level is high while regular performances by school bands and the orchestra are well received by the local community. Role requirements - Music Teacher - Waltham Forest, East London
*Must hold UK QTS - post is suitable for both experienced and newly qualified teachers with an excellent induction programme available.
*Ideally able to play a range of instruments and/or vocal teaching.
*Will need to be able to manage classes at all key stages. Behaviour is good, but the incoming teacher will still need class presence.
*Team player who wants to grow and develop in the department. Excellent professional development and career progression opportunities available.
