Specialist school with an excellent reputation - Long term to permanent post starting October 2020 or sooner - MPS/UPS - Stevenage, North Hertfordshire.

Applications welcome from experienced Pupil Referral Unit Teaching staff and teachers looking to specialise in behavioural teaching or excluded pupils and step away from a role in a mainstream school.

Are you a creative and dedicated Music Teacher looking to work within a PRU, specialising in working with pupils who have been excluded from mainstream education with SEMH.

** Music Teacher - October 2020 (or sooner) on a fixed term to permanent contract.
** Experience with delivering Music with good literacy skills or experience of offering some English at GCSE level is beneficial.
** Adaptability is required as you will be dealing with small classes of challenging pupils
** Experience working with SEMH or PRU pupils is desired.

The role -
** Class sizes 3-5, across Key stages 3 and 4
** The school covers functional skills L1 and 2 as well as streamed core subjects.
** Managing 3 staff including support

Working alongside a specialist team of 20 staff you'll have full access to the school's facilities from day one and be supported fully with ongoing training and CPD.
