Nursery Assistant

Our client school is recruiting for a full-time Nursery Assistant! Do you have experience working with babies, toddlers or young children? Do you hold a Level 2 Childcare Qualification or equivalent? An OFSTED 'Outstanding' three-form entry primary school in Romford are looking for a Nursery Assistant from mid-April 2024 to join their welcoming Nursery Team linked to the main primary school.

As a Nursery Assistant, you would have an important role supporting children in taking their first steps in their education journey, acting as a positive role model and helping them to gain skills to understand the world. The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 Childcare Qualification and will have experience working in a Nursery/Early Years environment. This would be a full-time, long-term post with pay rates between £80 to £95 a day.

Located in Romford, the primary school has parking on-site and is easily accessible by public transport. You will be supported by an experienced Senior Leadership Team. Working in a Nursery linked to a primary school you will benefit from shorter working hours (8:30 - 3:30), more holiday (13 weeks a year)!

Requirements:

• Hold a Level 2 Childcare Qualification or equivalent.
• Someone who is pro-active in the classroom and takes initiative.
• Have previous experience working in Nurseries/Early Years.
• Available to work Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm.
• Live within commutable distance of Romford.
