Tradewind Manchester is currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Assistant, to join an outstanding and highly regarded Nursery School in Stockport, to start in April 2019. This is a full time, long term role, with the potential of a permanent contract, paying up to £65 a day.

To join us and be successful in this Nursery Assistant role, you will need to:
*Hold a relevant Childcare qualification or equivalent
*Have experience of working with young children with a wide range of SEN
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
*Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK

About the school

We are recruiting for a Nursery Assistant on behalf of a large Nursery School, which caters for children from 2-5 years old. The school is an outstanding Early Years provision and is highly regarded within the local community. The school has a strong family atmosphere and parents are very proud of the exceptional progress which their children make. Children with Special Needs receive excellent support and make fantastic progress.
The school is based in Stockport, with convenient public transport links and parking available outside.
The wide range of exciting activities and happy atmosphere are immediately noticeable when visiting this Nursery School. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere feels happy and safe.

About the role

This OFSTED 'Outstanding' Nursery School is looking for an experienced Nursery Assistant who can support children within small groups as well as on an individual basis. Interventions support experience is highly desirable as this role requires supporting children with a range of SEN.
The role involves organising and supervising appropriate Early Years Foundation Stage activities both indoors and outdoors. Feeding, changing and physical assistance are integral to this role. Assisting with supervision during continuous provision, lunchtimes and educational visits is required.
The ability to work as part of a team and provide support to the Teaching staff is a daily requirement, as is building effective relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
