Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a dynamic and ambitious leader to manage and be responsible for the daily running and administration of a nursery, set within a highly regarded co-ed prep school, located north of Swindon.
The Nursery Manager will work closely with the Head of Pre-Prep and the Headmaster to lead an already successful nursery to a new level, enhancing the nursery's offering and facilities and consolidating its position as the foremost nursery in the area.
The Nursery Manager will be responsible for the daily running and administration of the nursery whilst adhering to the policies & procedures, ensuring compliance with the Children Act and Health and Safety legislation.
The school are looking to split the role into 3 days of "hands on" running a room and 2 days to allow for the administration and management aspect of the role.
We are looking for:
*Level 3 qualified as a minimum, ideally QTS (or equivalent degree in Early Childhood Studies)
*Proven management experience, preferably in a nursery/pre-school/EY setting
*An inspirational and enthusiastic leader with high organisational skills
*Someone who is an excellent role model and who actively promotes the skills, attributes and behaviours important in a classroom
The role is F/T on a 1-year fixed term contract with a view of extending to a permanent contract at the end of the academic year.
