Candidates will need to have experience of working with children under 5 years of age, knowledge and understanding of EYFS framework, good observational and planning skills as well as a real desire and passion for early years.

The successful candidate will have:

*Ideally a Level 3 qualification in childcare
*Minimum 1 year of recent nursery experience
*Proven skills in prioritizing and time management
*Ability to balance between room routines and paperwork
*You will receive an attractive daily rate depending on your experience and track record.

Job Duties Summary

*Adhering to room ratios in line with policies and rotas
*Ensuring regular record keeping for the key children's development
*Working as part of a team in observation, assessment and planning of children's activities, learning and development
*Active involvement with staff and room meetings and supporting the continually evolving high standards in the practice.
*Adhering to Health and Safety policies, maintaining risk assessments and relevant documentation
*Working in partnership with parents to best support children's care and development within, as well as outside the nursery
