This term time only role is paying long-term rates of between £75 - £85 a day, depending on experience.

This supportive and popular, three-form entry state Primary School in the borough of Tower Hamlets, has one intake of Nursery children in September who are offered immediate full-time places. This means the children bond well and make great progress.

By offering that consistency for the children, the school wants the same from staff - to form relationships, be loyal and committed.

Good written and spoken English is essential in order for their children who are EAL/ new to English. As the successful Nursery Nurse, you'll need to be able to support observations. The school will look with favour on those Nursery Nurses who have worked in a primary School setting. Expected hours are from 8.30AM - 4PM - term time only

The Nursery is well resourced and there is a separate outdoor play area for the EYFS. As the successful Nursery Nurse, you will be joining one of two Nursery classes. Each class is headed up by an experienced Nursery Teacher and relevant support staff.

It is in easy distance of the Blackwall Tunnel and a 10 min walk from the DLR. The school is housed in a large, modern and bright building with lots of outdoor space.

Job Requirements

Level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent childcare qualification
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
Experience of working as a Nursery Nurse preferably in a mainstream school or recent Level 3 in Childcare and Education qualification
