Job Title: Nursery Teacher (Fixed Term)
Location: Chesterfield, North
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (mornings only) and full day on Friday
Contract Type: Fixed Term (until the end of the academic year)
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nursery Teacher to join our small and friendly primary school located in the north of Chesterfield. This is a fixed-term position, specifically catering to the nursery year group. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for our young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective and stimulating lessons for nursery-aged children.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a holistic approach to early years education.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents as needed.
- Implement age-appropriate teaching methods and resources.
- Contribute to the overall well-being and development of the children in the nursery.
Requirements:
- Qualified to teach in Early Years (QTS or equivalent).
- Proven experience in teaching nursery-aged children.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Commitment to the well-being and development of young children.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 12:30 Mornings only
- Friday: Full day 8:30am - 3:30pm
