The Governors of this popular, happy and successful Catholic school wish to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and highly motivated Nursery Teacher. This is an outstanding one form entry Church of England primary school in Wandsworth, Inner London. This is a Nursery Teacher position and the successful candidate will be familiar with the current EYFS curriculum and will have high expectations of themselves and their pupils.

This primary school pupils make excellent progress academically and their aim is for them to develop as well rounded individuals who are happy, confident and excited by what their school can offer them. This exciting position offers an annual salary of £29,477 - £40,067.

We are looking for a qualified Nursery Teacher who:
*Demonstrates excellent, creative and challenging teaching which results in outstanding achievement for every pupil
*Has a comprehensive understanding of the EYFS curriculum
*Is a successful, creative and enthusiastic classroom practitioner with high expectations of learning and behaviour

Nursery Teacher role:
To teach a full class and to contribute to the discussion of the school's aims and policies and participate in the implementation of policies, plans, targets and practices.

Key Tasks:
*Use school policy and National Curriculum requirements to set clear targets for the pupils' development and achievement, and monitor pupils' progress towards those targets
*Use effective teaching and learning strategies to communicate clear learning objectives and expectations including, where appropriate, in relation to english, maths and other core targets
*Recognise the standard that a pupil is working towards and make accurate assessments against National Curriculum Standards
*Plan effectively to ensure that pupils can meet their potential, notwithstanding differences of race and gender, and taking account of the needs of pupils from their starting points, making use of relevant information and specialist help where available
*Meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and disabilities, in collaboration with the SENDCO and make an appropriate contribution to the preparation, implementation, monitoring and review of Individual Pathway Plans

To be eligible for this Nursery Teacher position you must hold a recognised teaching qualification and QTS and have had similar experience as a year group or phase leader within primary school.
