Tradewind is in search of an outstanding Nursery Teacher for an appealing opportunity at a well-regarded primary school situated in Tameside.

On behalf of the school we represent, Tradewind is delighted to offer you an excellent chance to contribute significantly to the advancement and achievement of pupils in a Nursery class within a 'Good' school in Hyde, Tameside. This role specifically involves morning cover and is set to commence as soon as possible on a full-time basis, continuing until the end of the academic year. There is potential for an extension based on your success in the position.

The competitive pay rate for this position is between £150 and £210 per day, depending on experience. You will be required for the rest of the academic year.

Nursery Teacher - Morning Cover

The successful teacher will be responsible for the progress and attainment of a high achieving Nursery class.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Develop captivating lessons in accordance with the EYFS National Curriculum standards and complement the school's implementation of the creative curriculum.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of AREs for Nursery children, providing tailored support to maximise educational outcomes for each pupil.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of data, analyse areas requiring reteaching, and address learning gaps to sustain high levels of achievement.
  • Cultivate a positive relationship with all pupils, fostering trust and mutual respect.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the Teaching Assistant, key stage colleagues, and the broader staff to exchange advice, share resources, and implement best practices effectively as part of a cohesive team.


Essential Requirements:

-QTS (Or an equivalent teaching qualification)

-Excellent references to support previous experience in EYFS (ideally in a Nursery class)

-A CV that covers the last 10 years employment history with any CV gaps explained

-The right to work in the UK
