Tradewind Recruitment have been asked by a very successful Trust of schools in West Essex to assist them in the appointment of a part time Operations Manager to cover maternity. The role will be for 3 days a week and is likely to be from December to September.

You will be a driven and dedicated individual with the ability to effectively lead the overall running of a Multi-Academy Trust. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of operations management and you will go on to play a vital role in children's lives throughout their schools.

You will be predominantly based in West Essex in the Trust's flagship school. Although most of associated schools are located in the same town, a clean drivers licence and access to a car is desirable should you need to be visit a partner school at short notice. You will benefit from working closely with a strong academic community, including various school leaders, managers and a centralised team, while having the access to professional development.

The ideal candidate will be expected to:
*Be involved in leadership, compliance, infrastructure and business support across the MAT.
*Be able to provide examples of effective and inspirational leadership and continuous growth.
*Have exceptional organisational and project management skills.
*Have up-to-date knowledge of legislation and guidance affecting academies.
*Ensure all operations are complaint with all regulatory and legal requirements.
*Be able to professionally communicate on all levels and promote and embrace the vision and values of the trust.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will:
*Hold a Degree or equivalent qualification, preferable in a related subject area.
*Have excellent written and verbal communication skills on all professional levels.
*Have strong analytical and ICT skills.
*Have experience of managing large projects and programmes.
*Be able to work under pressure, prioritise workload effectively and be open receptive to new ideas and challenges.
