We are recruiting on behalf of a lovely Salford school who have recently been Graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. The head is looking for someone 3 day per week, to cover the current teacher who is transitioning to part time. The role is to start January 2021 and will last until the end of the academic year.
Staff at this school set high expectations for pupil's work and behaviour. Alongside this, they work collaboratively to develop a curriculum that offers a variety of experiences for the children and enables them to acquire all the basic skills necessary to realise and achieve their full potential.

As a KS1 teacher at this school you will need to ensure you are providing stimulating experiences for the children's enquiring minds whilst teaching them the skills needed to work independently. You will also be responsible for:
*Assessing, tracking, and reporting on the pupil's attainment and personal development
*Teach high quality phonics lessons, maintaining the school's high attainment levels.
*Set high expectations for pupil behaviour.
*Provide a caring and supportive learning environment based on mutual respect.
*Partake in wider school commitments and activities
We are looking for applicants who have:
*Qualified Teacher Status
*Excellent organisational skills
*A commitment to child development and learning
*Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
