Tradewind are currently working with a "Good" graded 2 form entry Forest School in Hemel Hempstead in need of a part-time PPA Teacher, to start in September and continue for the rest of the school year.

The role will involve providing support to KS2 across the school and giving relief to those teachers that need to plan, prep and asses. You will need to work closely and effectively with these KS2 teachers in order to provide a seamless lesson to their pupils that meets the day's learning objective. You will be required 3 days per week and the school is happy to negotiate what days these are.

The school are seeking a teacher who is:
-Knowledgeable on the UK KS2 curriculum for at least one year group
-Flexible, proactive and an excellent team worker
-Able to strike up a rapport with children quickly and engage them in learning

The school itself as a forest school actively promotes outdoor curriculum where possible and they are privileged to have a lot of outdoor green space, backing onto a forest with a vegetable patch and play area. As a new building the school is very well resourced with big bright classrooms and excellent facilities. The school also promotes inclusivity, with excellent SEN provision and facilities such as a sensory room to support children with ASD or SEMH.

The school is 10 minutes drive from the M1 and has a large car park. Alternatively, there is a bus and train stop 10 minutes away.

Salary expectations for this role are MPS1 to MPS6 and to start September.

Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
