We are seeking a part time Primary Teacher, to start in April 2021 at a 3-form entry primary school in South Manchester for a PPA role. This part time position which will require you to work 3 days per week providing PPA cover for the schools Key Stage 2 department. This long-term supply role will pay competitively and the school will require someone until the end of the academic year.

This is a fantastic 3-form entry primary school in South Manchester. This school recently received a 'Outstanding' Ofsted inspection and is consistently oversubscribed. The school is ideally situated within 4 miles of the city centre and is close to several transport links, including a tram and bus stop. As one of the schools PPA Teachers your responsibilities will include;

• Support the Key Stage 2 department of the school
• Cover class teachers whilst they conduct timely and effect intervention sessions
• Liaise with the entire Key Stage 2 team ensuring that there is a clear understanding of the different classes you will need to support throughout the week
• Have strong subject knowledge in Key Stage 2
• Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils, as well as their personal and social needs.
• Reinforcing a balanced curriculum and ensuring that each child fulfils his or her potential by providing high levels of teaching standards.

You will be working in a school with a solid reputation within Manchester local authority. Essential requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status and current experience in Key Stage 2
• References that support a successful teaching career
• The right to work in the U.K
• Availability from April and the commitment for the rest of the academic year.
