About Us: Tradewind Recruitment is proud to support our longstanding client school in North Lincolnshire in their search for a dedicated Part-Time Teacher of Religious Education. Our client school is committed to providing an enriching educational experience and fostering a supportive learning environment for students.

Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher of Religious Education to join our staffing team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will predominantly work with Key Stage 3 students, delivering engaging and insightful lessons that encourage critical thinking and exploration of religious concepts.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic Religious Education lessons in line with the national curriculum and school guidelines.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and motivated to succeed.
  • Assess student progress through a variety of methods and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the Religious Education department.
  • Fulfil marking and administrative duties in a timely manner to ensure effective assessment and feedback.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Religious Education at Key Stage 3 level, with a strong understanding of the subject.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of teaching and learning, and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
  • Ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons that cater to the individual needs and abilities of students.
