Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Or a recent graduate looking to begin your career in education? Tradewind recruitment is recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work in an Outstanding secondary school in Redbridge from September 2020.

The Role: This is a part time position, 3 days per week, Wednesday - Friday. Commencing in September 2020, this is a temporary role for the duration of the academic year, until July 2021.

As SEN TA, you will be working closely with the SENCO, Class Teachers and HLTA to support students with an Educational Health Care Plan, from KS3 up to KS5. You will work with students with a range of needs, across the four main areas of: Communication and interaction; Cognition and learning; Social, emotional and mental health difficulties; Sensory and/or physical needs. Along with providing in-class support to these students, you may also be responsible for running intervention/ booster sessions for English and Maths.

The school is located in Redbridge with excellent access to public transport links. There is free parking on-site. The school was rated Outstanding in its most recent Ofsted.

· This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
