Tradewind are currently looking for an experienced SEN or SEMH TA who is looking for a new opportunity? Are you passionate about making a difference in and working with special needs children? This PRU based in Wandsworth is currently recruiting for SEN or SEMH Teaching Assistants. The School provide quality education for children with challenging behaviour who are receiving education outside of mainstream education. This is a part time starting immediately covering a maternity until the end of the academic year.
This SEN school covers the ages from EYFS up to KS5 and offers continues training for all its employees.
As a SEN or SEMH teaching assistant, you will be responsible for working with a pupils with on a 1:1 basis aiding them with the educational opportunities available to them. Patience, adaptability, experience supporting emotional regulation and flexible thinking will be key to success in this role.
For this role we are looking for:
*Pupil referral units (PRU)
*Experience working with children with Social emotional mental Health (SEMH)
*Experience working in schools or in alternative provision settings including 1 to 1 tuition due to medical needs or mental health.
Person Specification
*Behaviour support TA/LSA -Team teach - (SEMH TA SEMH /PRU)
*Team teach Qualification or other positive handling
