PE in Surrey for next term:
PE Teacher (Full Time)
Location: Surrey
Start Date: 2nd September
Duration: 1 year Minimum
Pay Scale: MPS London Fringe equivalent
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join our team at a large, mixed Secondary Academy in Surrey. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching PE to students in KS3 to KS5, providing high quality lessons and promoting physical activity and well-being among students.
The school has excellent facilities for sports and physical education, including:
- A large sports hall
- A fitness suite
- An all-weather pitch
- Tennis and netball courts
- Athletics track and field area
- Gym
The ideal candidate will have:
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching PE to KS3 to KS5 students
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for physical education
- The ability to motivate and engage students in learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and other vetting procedures, including:
- Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the UK
- References from previous employers
- Qualifications and teacher registration checks
