Tradewind are working alongside an aspirational, high-achieving "Good" rated academy in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, who are seeking a PE teacher to start following the April school holidays for the rest of the academic year, due to another overseas teacher returning home.

Our client has an excellent reputation in the local community and high staff retention, aided by a strong Senior Leadership Team who are committed to the school's continued improvement. Student progress and attainment are well above the national average, with a high standard of behaviour and respect across the school. The 'harmonious atmosphere' was praised by Ofsted in their most recent report (2016), as well as strong teaching and classroom relationships, which contribute to a high standard of student engagement.

The school are now seeking a PE teacher who is:
*Committed to student progress and continually improving outcomes
*Enthusiastic, dedicated and able to form a rapport with students in both PE lessons and extracurricular activities
*Creative, engaging and continually developing their teaching practice
*Committed to safeguarding and able to uphold the school's high standard of care for their pupils
*There is also the opportunity of a permanent contract for the right teacher from September 2019.

This role will entail teaching PE at KS3 and 4 (Years 7-11), as well as contributing to the school's extracurricular sports provision.

The school is located in Amersham with onsite parking and easy access from the A413 and M25. It is also a short walk from the local Metropolitan line station.
