Tradewind Recruitment are working alongside an inclusive and specialist school located in Luton to recruit a PE teacher on a full time basis, starting immediately. This school prioritises PE as a source of both enjoyment and healthy living for the pupils, and students are taught in ability sets from Key Stage 3. The programme of study aims to ensure that students develop competence to excel in a broad range of physical activities, are physically active for sustained periods of time, engage in competitive sports and activities and lead healthy, active lives.
Students are taught to:
* use a range of tactics and strategies to overcome opponents in direct competition through team and individual games
* develop their technique and improve their performance in other competitive sports
* analyse their performances compared to previous ones and demonstrate improvement to achieve their personal best


The school is a large single sex school with a diverse pupil population based centrally in Luton. Pupils at the school are keen to learn and the school offers an array of popular clubs, workshops and excursions.
As a proactive and upbeat teacher you will be required to engage and encourage pupils throughout all Key Stages. "Most students are polite and well mannered", according to their last Ofsted!

The role will utilise a number of resources and links to other departments, you'll be working alongside a mixed team of 3 other teachers and a proven Headteacher.
