The school have secured superb GCSE results for the last 2 years and were graded by Ofsted as Good in all areas in their most recent inspection. With excellent facilities and a range of sports on offer the school is an open planned, purpose-built design, offering well lit, clean and tidy classrooms.

As a PE Teacher in this single sex school you'll benefit from a collaboratively department, sharing lesson scaffolding, schemes of work and resources. Part time Teachers can be accommodated (0.6 p/week) and full time teachers will be required to cover within other areas of the school on a cover basis. Focussing on PE across Key stages 3 and 4 you will hold full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking, assessments and parents evening. The school hold high expectations for each and every pupil and are currently on their way to improving their Ofsted and results following a successful increase over the last two years. This is a large, award winning stand-alone Academy based in Luton in a large purpose built building.

The school and department are well equipped and are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and charismatic teacher focussed on implementing engaging lessons to inspire pupils and understand the importance of raising attainment. Leadership in the school work collaboratively and will a clear vision for all pupils and staff alike.

A short walk from the local station and shops, the school offers free parking and access to the school's facilities outside of school hours.

The Role:
* Delivering PE across Key stage 3 & 4.
* Planning, marking and assessment.
* Attending Parents Evenings as required.
* Running clubs after school as required.
