Tradewind are currently recruiting for a fantastic PE teacher to work on a full time basis in an excellent school in North Lincolnshire. You will be teaching PE to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, and will be working in the classroom and working on practical work as well. We would consider a male or female for this position as there is room on the timetable for either, and we are really looking for a strong practitioner who can manage behaviour effectively and ensure that strong progress is made in the classroom. We are looking for a practitioner who is available on a full time basis, but would consider applications from excellent practitioners who are only available on a part time basis (3 or 4 days per week), as a job share might be available. There is potential for some Geography teaching on the timetable to Key Stage 3 students, and it's looking likely that this will be for approximately 7 lessons per week. All of the planning and marking associated with a teaching role will be expected for the PE booking (as we are looking for a PE specialist), but we are happy to say that all of the planning and marking for the Geography lessons will be provided by an excellent subject specialist (the head of department). As all planning and marking for half the timetable is required for this role, you will be paid to scale for this position, meaning the successful candidate can expect to earn between £110.00 and £184.00 per day for this position. You will be booked until at least Easter, but this is a vacant position, so the potential for permanent work is available. Of course, if the successful practitioner has actually taught some Geography, this would be highly favoured.


The School in question is a large Academy with good transport links and a strong sense of community spirit. Being in a central location, it is easily accessible via public transport, so the successful candidate does not necessarily need to drive for this position. The school in question is part of an extremely successful academy chain that prioritises quality teaching and learning and student welfare. Other teachers at the school have enjoyed a good experience at the school on supply, and excellent procedures are in place to help supply teachers coming in.
