The school wish to appoint a Newly Qualified English Teacher from a Top 20 Russel Group University. This is a Permanent position with a start date of September 2019, but the school will consider a start date before the Summer for teachers completing their training early. The school is a part of a trust that have been considering of having one the highest quality NQT programmes. The school have a track record of supporting hundreds of teachers in their introduction into the profession to produce outstanding practice to be in line with the school's ethos. Responsibilities for this PE Teacher role would include;
*Teaching KS3 and KS4 classes within the PE department
*Delivering excellent practical lessons in football, cricket, athletics and boxing to name a few
*Being enthusiastic about developing KS5 Teaching of PE
*Being abreast with the changes and developments in the curriculum
*Developing pupil's competence and confidence to take part in a range of physical activities that become a central part of their lives, both in an out of school
*Developing physical and mental capacity to succeed
*Genuinely caring about the education of your students, going above and beyond to see them succeed and achieve
*Utilising differentiation to meet the needs of groups of pupils with different levels of understanding
*Being an exceptional teacher who can add great value within the department and school
