This client is an outstanding school which offers exceptional opportunities for a talented, committed and enthusiastic teacher of PE to join this energetic and enthusiastic department. They are looking for a creative professional who is keen to contribute and develop innovative ideas for teaching and learning and be committed to the College's extra-curricular timetable.

The successful candidate will be a motivated individual with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring students and who can enable them to flourish. The person appointed will have the opportunity to teach across the age and ability range up to and including BTEC level 3. This position would suit either an experienced teacher or an exceptional NQT.

This client has been judged 'outstanding' by Ofsted on two successive occasions and is an outward looking school with an excellent reputation in the local area. It is a strategic partner in the Catholic Teaching Alliance and works as part of the SSLP in partnership with other schools in the borough including private schools. Alongside these opportunities to work with professionals from a range of other establishments, the college was awarded transforming status by SSAT reflecting the outstanding professional development we offer.

The college building itself is state-of-the-art, with a new Block recently built. Cutting edge technology throughout both buildings support our innovative teaching and learning.

All staff must conduct themselves in an appropriate professional manner at all times, and to support and foster the aims of the College and the Catholic Ethos. You must teach effectively, being cognisant of pupil prior attainment, target grades and status eg SEN, EAL, GTP. This will involve planning differentiated lessons and preparing schemes of work. A teacher planner must be kept with prior attainment grades, lesson plans and pupil registers completed for each lesson.

This client is looking for someone with Qualified Teacher Status and a Degree or equivalent qualification. You must be able to provide evidence of good classroom practice and excellent teaching alongside evidence of successful teaching to a range of abilities. This role will suit an experienced teacher or an NQT. They have a huge success rate in the training of new teachers.

The central location of the college is an asset; ten minutes from London Bridge and five from amazing views of the Thames and Tower Bridge. This location means that we have thriving Business links to support our work with the students.
