Role - Personal Care Teaching Assistant
Start Date: ASAP
Hours - 10am-3pm
Area -Mansfield

My client is currently looking to recruit a care assistant - teaching assistant support. To work with a few children who require personal care in EYFS and KS1. The candidate must be flexible to move around school to support with all personal care and changing needs.

The pay rate varies depending on experience from £9.77 - £11.00 per hour

Responsibilities for this 1-1 care role

*Supporting 1-1 with personal care across EYFS- KS1
*Experience of changing and personal care
*Work on differentiated activities to deliver to the students
* Bring specific strategies to lead boosters and interventions
*Liaise with the SENCO/Inclusion manager
*Develop social/emotional skills
*Work with teachers to monitor progress of the pupils
*Accompanying the children to relevant therapy sessions

Requirements for the role:

* Previous experience of working with children or young adults with special needs is essential
* Personal care - changing experience essential
* A teaching assistant NVQ level 3 or equivalent
