Phonics Intervention Teaching Assistant

We are currently working with a friendly primary school in Rotherham that is seeking a Phonics Intervention Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis. The Phonics Intervention Teaching Assistant will be working with targeted students within EYFS and KS1. This is an ongoing position which is due to start in October. The Phonics Intervention Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 and small group support to help boost attainment. Proven success of delivering Phonics would be advantageous for this role. The salary will range from £14,500- £17,900.

The Phonics Intervention Teaching Assistant will be based at 2 form entry primary school in Rotherham. They pride themselves on the inclusive approach to education, and strive to enable all children to reach their full potential through a broad, balanced and inclusive curriculum. They aim to create a calm and positive atmosphere throughout the school.

Essential requirements:

Teaching Assistant experience, proven success of Phonics Interventions, knowledge of EYFS and KS1 curriculum, DBS, legal right to work in the UK
